It looks like President Obama is going to get his stimulus package through the House of Representatives and the Senate. His main point is he wants to get money fast and help us save or create over 4 million jobs in the next two years.

If you have recently lost your job I'm sure you're in favor of anything that will create a new one for you. It is never a good idea to count on government to bail you out if you are in a financial pinch however. A better plan is to be proactive and work at getting money fast on your own.
